About Terry Since joining Orr Group in 2021, Terry has ensured the most efficient operations in Orr Group’s office-wide workflows, technology, and infrastructure. In his role, he helps drive organizational strategy on responsible AI usage, pushes to increase user adoption, develops policies and trainings, and implements AI and automation-driven efficiencies. As Head of Operations, Terry maintains safe, compliant, and effective day-to-day operations and implements projects to continually improve organizational systems. Terry partners closely with nonprofit partners to lead AI and automation engagements from early discovery through implementation, serving as a trusted advisor and project lead throughout the process. He works with cross-functional teams to clarify goals, scope work, manage timelines, and translate operational challenges into practical, responsible AI and automation solutions that deliver measurable improvements and lasting adoption. He has also led AI Trainings with representatives of more than 250 nonprofit organizations. Before joining Orr Group, Terry spent 10 years working in nonprofit operations, facilities, and IT. Most recently, Terry served as the Director of Operations at Americans for the Arts. In this role, Terry implemented and standardized organizational practices and procedures introduced new systems, and helped advance the organization’s IT infrastructure, office services, contracting, HR, and meetings & events. Before that, Terry worked at Imagination Stage, serving as the Facilities Manager and Assistant General Manager.
