Our Directors typically lead and drive team work strategies, manage day-to-day client account operations, and serve as the principal liaison with our client partners. They generally have ten to fifteen years’ professional experience in the nonprofit sector, with at least five of those years having been spent successfully soliciting six-to-nine-figure gifts from individual, major, corporate and foundation donors. They will have three or more years’ direct experience creating donor and nonprofit development department strategy, and be well-versed in fundraising and nonprofit management best practices.

While individual client needs vary, it is likely that a Director will spend several days a week onsite at clients’ offices, with the balance in Orr Group’s office. In addition to client team leadership, Directors are expected to be actively involved in leading, training and mentoring staff within Orr Group.


Our Associates participate in the creation, management, and implementation of effective fundraising capacity-building plans for our nonprofit clients. Associates generally have a minimum of one to three years’ experience in development or nonprofit marketing, are self-starters with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and are committed team players.
