About Sophia

As an Associate Director, Sophia collaborates with Orr Group’s nonprofit partners to develop and execute fundraising strategies and drive revenue to enhance programs and services. Her work includes preparing materials, conducting research and analysis, and helping to execute team deliverables.

Prior to joining Orr Group, Sophia served as Assistant Director of Operations for First Focus on Children, a bipartisan advocacy group dedicated to making children and families the priority in federal legislation. She was responsible for managing board of director relations, publishing a compilation of expert papers on systematic shortcomings, and executing a wide variety of deliverables. In addition, Sophia was an executive member of her service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega, where she augmented volunteer experience for over 200 student volunteers by facilitating positive relationships with a variety of organizations (such as Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House, and Rise Against Hunger) in various physical and social volunteering efforts.
