About Peter

As Senior Director and Head of Finance, Peter oversees all financial and accounting functions for Orr Group. He partners with the Chief Strategy and Operating Officer and other senior leadership to increase project efficiency, spread financial literacy, and ensure the financial health and sustainability of the firm.

Peter has over 20 years of professional experience in various financial support positions across an array of industries.

Peter began his Financial Career at Accenture providing financial support to systems implementation work at large Federal Clients such as DoD and DHS. Participating in Accenture’s internal SAP/ERP implementation equipped him with a bevy of technical abilities that allows him to quickly assess and leverage financial system capabilities.

After a brief stint in investment banking ending with the Great Recession, Peter settled into Corporate Finance roles, most recently serving as Director of Operational Finance at Giant Food of Maryland for over 8 years. There he was responsible for coordinating the plan and spend for all non-merchandising activities, including capital investment.
