About Lauren

As a Director, Lauren collaborates with nonprofit leaders to understand their needs, develop innovative approaches, and enhance organizational processes to advance their missions and accelerate impact. She is a key member of the firm's Impact Group, dedicated to identifying and addressing the needs of our nonprofit partners while promoting our best practices and perspectives across the sector.

Prior to rejoining Orr Group, Lauren was an active consultant, community volunteer, and board member focused on building the development capabilities of cultural and educational nonprofit organizations in New York City and Palm Beach, Florida.  

Earlier in her career, Lauren served as Orr Group’s Director of Human Resources. Lauren was a member of the Executive Leadership Team and structured the company’s original forays into two new lines of service, Outsourced Development and Outsourced Operations, in addition to overseeing the growth of both the Washington DC and New York City offices. She also partnered with clients on operations, strategic planning, and development initiatives. 

Lauren started her nonprofit career at her alma mater, the University of Virginia, where she specialized in major gifts, corporate relations, and the first-ever billion-dollar campaign. 

When I'm not working...

I’m singing and dancing! I trained to be a professional ballerina with the Joffrey Ballet and School of American Ballet.
