About Katie As Director and Head of Growth at Orr Group, Katie leads the firm’s integrated strategy for brand, marketing, communications, thought leadership, and business development. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, she guides the Growth Team in advancing Orr Group’s mission to transform nonprofits through embedded partnerships, trusted advice, and the business of philanthropy. Katie partners closely with the firm’s Impact and Client Experience teams to ensure cohesive branding, communications, and business development efforts that drive organizational growth and client success. She oversees initiatives that strengthen the Orr Group brand, expand thought leadership opportunities, and manage the systems and processes that support business development and market visibility. Her work includes directing marketing and communications efforts, planning and executing events, and developing new business proposals that drive organizational growth. She also leads efforts to integrate AI and automation into Orr Group’s marketing and business development operations, guiding strategy and workflow design to improve efficiency and alignment across the firm’s growth functions. Before joining Orr Group, Katie worked with Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity, supporting development and communications initiatives that advanced fundraising and community engagement. Her background in marketing, fundraising, and partnership management informs her approach to building coordinated strategies that drive both organizational growth and mission impact.
