About Patricia As Senior Director and Head of Orr Group’s Donor Engagement Practice Area, Patricia is dedicated to amplifying each partner’s impact by fostering cohesive teams and driving revenue growth. Her focus spans outsourced philanthropic leadership, frontline fundraising, and board transformation. Patricia approaches her work with a big-picture mindset, balancing strategic thinking with meticulous attention to detail to ensure effective execution. Whether developing creative solutions or optimizing existing strategies, she leverages her expertise to contribute to sustainable growth. During her tenure at Orr Group, Patricia has forged dynamic partnerships with a diverse portfolio of 15+ organizations. Her experience includes serving in outsourced frontline fundraising roles, providing interim leadership, developing and implementing strategic initiatives, and executing large-scale events. Beyond client work, she champions employee engagement and advocates for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging within the firm. Before joining Orr Group initially in 2019, Patricia was the Director of Special Events and Corporate Development at Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic. There, she managed the development team and assumed the responsibilities of the VP of Development during transitional periods. Patricia’s focus was on crafting fundraising and logistical strategies for signature peer-to-peer events, community gatherings, and galas. She spearheaded the corporate development program, launching successful corporate engagement initiatives and driving cause-related marketing campaigns. Additionally, Patricia oversaw foundation outreach and workplace giving efforts. Her earlier career started in hospitality where Patricia led teams and orchestrated fundraising galas, corporate retreats, embassy dinners, political gatherings, award shows, and weddings at the Westin Maui Resort & Spa, the Park Hyatt Washington, the W Hotel in Washington DC, and Yours Truly Hotel. Most recently, Patricia held the title of National Director of Employee Engagement and Giving at the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). In this role, she shaped the strategy to enhance employee engagement and giving within the private sector, collaborated with executives at major corporations to achieve ambitious sustainability goals, and drove impactful employee engagement and giving campaigns.
