About Amy

As a Senior Director, Amy works with Orr Group’s nonprofit partners to develop, implement, and execute innovative fundraising strategies to reach their goals. Amy has spent her career strategically crafting and building prospect research, prospect management, and analytics functions within large, complex nonprofit organizations.

Before joining Orr Group, Amy was most recently Senior Director of Research and Pipeline Development on the Revenue Operations team at Year Up, a national workforce development organization, where she led a dynamic team responsible for spearheading new business development, managing pipelines, and conducting comprehensive research and analysis for individual, corporate, foundation, and market segments. This crucial support contributed to Year Up's annual revenue exceeding $170 million.

Amy started at Year Up in 2016 when she assumed the inaugural Director of Prospect Development and Research role, becoming a pivotal leader within the Development Operations team. In this capacity, she successfully established the framework for the individual and institutional major and principal gift prospect development function.

Prior to her time at Year Up, Amy served as the Associate Director of Prospect Research and Analytics at Massachusetts General Hospital. There, she had the unique experience of working at the nation’s #1 hospital during all phases of their first comprehensive $1.5 billion capital campaign. Notably, she played a key role in developing the hospital’s Prospect Management and Research program and spearheaded the initiation and establishment of the hospital's data analytics function for development. She started her career in development as a Senior Research Analyst at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
