About Monica

Monica oversees the internal people and culture function for Orr Group. She manages all human resources responsibilities, including employee engagement and recognition, performance management and goal setting, recruitment and onboarding, employee development and training, and benefits & total rewards.

Prior to joining Orr Group, Monica served as Senior Director of Human Resources for the Partner Solutions line of business at Arabella Advisors. In her role, Monica directed all HR functions for 100+ organizations that employed 1,000 employees across four entities. Monica regularly provided guidance, strategic leadership, and coaching to client executives on complex strategic, organizational development, and personnel issues. She also delivered essential insights on personnel management, capacity building, policy creation and interpretation, compliance, equity and belonging work, and benefits management. In addition to her client work, Monica managed the day-to-day operations of the 15-person internal HR consulting team.

Monica also recently served on the Board of Directors for the Network for Victim Recovery of DC, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing survivors of crime free trauma-informed advocacy, therapeutic, and legal services.

When I'm not working...

I’m spending time with my husband, Patrick, and our two cats Sophie and Evie, or traveling – most likely to somewhere with palm trees and beautiful sunsets!
