About Hunter

As an Associate Director, Hunter collaborates with Orr Group’s nonprofit partners to develop and execute fundraising strategies and drive revenue to enhance programs and services. Her work includes preparing materials, conducting research and analysis, and helping to execute team deliverables.

Prior to joining Orr Group, Hunter was the Manager of Individual Giving at The Washington Ballet, where she supported organizational and event fundraising strategy and donor engagement. She also gained experience at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as a Development Assistant supporting campaign goals with research, data analysis, and communications, and at Lee+ Associates as an Intern assisting with feasibility studies, capital campaigns, strategic planning, and executive placements.

Hunter is a lifelong learner and most recently completed her Master's degree in Arts Management from George Mason University, earning the Outstanding Achievement Award as the top-ranked student embodying an entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit, and the Andy Bursten Memorial Award for passion for nonprofit financial management. Hunter graduated from Rice University with her Bachelor's in Art History and Business.
