Becca joined Orr Group in 2018 with over ten years of fundraising experience. Becca has consistently led and achieved success in board development and support projects, major gifts fundraising, annual campaigns, fundraising events, and volunteer management. She brings this expertise to our nonprofit partners, along with her extensive experience cultivating and soliciting donors across individual giving platforms and corporate partnerships.
Most recently, Becca worked as the Director of Development at Hope for Henry. In this role, she developed fundraising strategy, implemented planning for the organization’s 15th anniversary gala, and identified and solicited new event sponsors. Becca also launched Hope for Henry’s Junior Board – The League of Heroes.
Before joining Hope for Henry, Becca served as the Director of Development at Make-A-Wish® Mid-Atlantic for four years. In addition to managing the development team and working with the Board of Directors, she carried out responsibilities of the VP of Development during times of transition and managed the chapter’s individual giving and major gifts campaigns. During her time at Make-A-Wish, Becca founded a series of regional councils across the Mid-Atlantic territory and oversaw countless premier fundraising events for the chapter.
Prior to Make-A-Wish, Becca worked for the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for nearly five years. In this role, she focused on donor cultivation and stewardship and managed a series of fundraising events that included the chapter’s walk campaign, golf tournaments and signature galas.
