About Lauren As a Senior Associate Director, Lauren collaborates with Orr Group’s partners to build strategies as a means to enhance fundraising efforts and achieve strategic organizational goals. With experience in both nonprofit development and fundraising events, Lauren is passionate about getting to know partners and figuring out how to build lasting donor relationships that are mutually beneficial for the long-term growth of the organization. Prior to joining Orr Group, Lauren spent most of her career volunteering and working with nonprofit organizations in the DC Metro area. Her passion for mission-based work is a driving force when working with partners. Most recently, Lauren worked as the Director of Development & Events for Junior Achievement of Greater Washington where she oversaw all aspects of event logistics, planning, and fundraising for two event campaigns, raising $1.5M-$2M collectively, annually. Additionally, she worked closely with the Board of Directors on annual giving and event sponsorships, as well as their Young Professionals Board. Lauren was able to revamp this talented group as a strategy to bring on new partners and increase fundraising and visibility in the DC Metro area.
