About Kate As an Associate Director in the Talent Practice Area, Kate focuses on Outsourced Human Resources, Hiring Support, and Recruitment service lines. She executes HR administration and hiring strategies catered to each client’s unique culture. Kate has an academic and professional background in German, Intercultural Communication, and Theater. Prior to joining Orr Group, she taught German at Wayne State University while obtaining her M.A. in German Language, Literature, and Culture and later taught English in Germany as a Fulbright Scholar with Diversity Specialization. She received a certificate in Intercultural Communication through her study abroad at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. While obtaining her M.F.A. in Dramaturgy at Columbia University, she studied nonprofit development and served as Literary Manager for the School of the Arts International Play Reading Festival.
