About Emma As an Associate, Emma collaborates with Orr Group’s nonprofit partners to develop and execute fundraising strategies and drive revenue to enhance programs and services. Her work includes preparing materials, conducting research and analysis, and helping to execute team deliverables. Prior to joining Orr Group, Emma worked at a political advocacy nonprofit, leading policy agendas on voting rights and good government reform, as well as supporting project management, political fundraising, and events management. She graduated from George Mason University in the Fall of 2020, earning a dual degree in Government and History. During her time there, she interned with Vestmark, a client-facing financial software firm, interned in Congress, and held historical research positions at the Fairfax County Courthouse Archives and the Adams National Historical Park. Emma looks forward to applying her background in research to her work at Orr Group. When I'm not working… I’m working on a new crochet project, going on a hike, or curling up with a cup of coffee and a good book. Favorite Book Genre Literary Fiction
