About Amy

Amy partners with clients on development assessments, fundraising strategies, and campaigns. She also helps drive the company’s commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. With a broad background in philanthropy and a specialty in major gifts, Amy enjoys learning deeply about our clients’ needs and opportunities and developing creative, pragmatic plans for them to level up their impact. Amy brings 20 years of nonprofit experience, including building development departments, coaching frontline fundraisers, writing grant proposals, and improving board and donor engagement. She has also created donor communication strategies, produced marketing collateral, and developed multi-channel fundraising campaigns. Prior to joining Orr Group, Amy led fundraising and communications at nonprofits focused on poverty alleviation, international development, health, and scientific research. She was most recently Director of Development at Innovations for Poverty Action.

I like seeing dances of all kinds, practicing yoga and meditation, visiting art spaces, and enjoying local restaurants and parks along the Brooklyn waterfront with friends and family.
