About Amy

Amy helps Orr Group’s clients develop and execute strengths-based development strategies and improve their positioning in the philanthropic sector. She brings 15 years of experience in fundraising, communications, and nonprofit leadership, and a proven track record of increasing revenue, improving donor relations, and designing integrated marketing campaigns that demonstrate organizations’ impact and potential. Prior to joining Orr Group, Amy led development for human rights, women’s rights, and social justice organizations. Most recently, she served as the National Director of Development at NAMI (the National Alliance for Mental Illness), where she led an individual giving program that nearly doubled revenue in just three years. Her experience spans individual, foundation, and corporate relations and includes annual fund development, direct marketing, planned giving, major gifts, and digital strategy.
