Rachael Barrett assists with the development and execution of strategies to increase sustainable revenue for nonprofits. With a strong emphasis on prospect research, proposal writing, case statements, business plans and project management, Rachael helps nonprofits in their endeavors to secure the funding vital to carrying out their mission. Her core expertise is in the development and execution of strategies to increase revenues from institutional donors (foundations, corporations, and government).
Rachael Barrett has over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, working with domestic and international organizations in the areas of health and mental health, healthcare delivery, community development, legal services, criminal justice, the arts, and advocacy. Throughout her career, she has been committed to working with entrepreneurial organizations focused on systemic change through education and advocacy.
Previously, Rachael held senior-level positions with the International Rescue Committee’s Women’s Refugee Commission and Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York. She has also assisted Upwardly Global and State of Maryland, Behavioral Health Services for their Traumatic Brain Injury Partners Grant (ACL) with their fundraising efforts.
