In his role as Associate Director, Talent Strategies, Ahmed works with the Talent Strategies and Recruitment team on recruitment and talent management efforts for our nonprofit partners. In his role, Ahmed assists the team with applicant management systems, data tracking, reporting, and analyzing trends to strengthen our partners’ recruitment and talent operations.


Ahmed brings 15 years of recruiting experience to his role at Orr Group and has recruited for both the public and private sector in fields including government, defense, education, healthcare, banking, and IT. His duties include “cradle to the grave”, full life cycle recruiting.

Ahmed’s nonprofit experience includes the creation of his own nonprofit organization to battle sexual assault in his home country of Somalia. His inspiration comes from his aunt Fatima Jibrell, who was the co-founder and Executive Director of Horn of Africa Relief and Development (now Adeso), as well as the co-founder of nonprofit organization Sun Fire Cooking.
