New Partner Spotlight: Girl Effect
Girl Effect’s mission is to empower girls to navigate the pivotal time of adolescence so they can make positive choices about their health, education, and economic future – no matter where in the world they live. Working with their partners, Girl Effect reaches millions of girls in more than 50 countries through the technology girls use every day.
Incubated from the Nike Foundation, Girl Effect has made significant strides in growing as a now independent organization. Additionally, their partnership with Gavi, the vaccine alliance, allows them to help millions of girls understand the safety and value of vaccinations to prevent diseases such as cervical cancer. In response to its recent philanthropic success, Girl Effect is partnering with Orr Group to get the development leadership and capacity the organization needs during this time of growth. Over the course of our engagement, Orr Group will serve as Interim Chief Development Officer, and will fill this role by expanding the major gifts pipeline and maintaining institutional giving revenue.
